S.T.R.E.A.M
At St. Helen Catholic School, STREAM—Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics—is more than a program. It is an integrated approach to learning that challenges students to think critically, solve real-world problems, and discover their God-given talents.
STREAM is woven into our academic curriculum through Project Lead The Way (PLTW), a nationally recognized program that engages students in hands-on, inquiry-based learning. Through structured units and collaborative projects, students explore engineering design, biomedical concepts, computer science, and applied problem-solving skills appropriate to their grade level.
Beyond the classroom, STREAM continues through after-school clubs and organizations that allow students to deepen their interests in robotics, coding, science exploration, creative design, and other enrichment opportunities. These experiences encourage curiosity, innovation, and perseverance.
Our community also gathers for our STREAM Night where students showcase projects, engage in interactive activities, and celebrate learning alongside their families. These events reflect our belief that education is strongest when school and home partner together.
Our goal is not simply to teach technical skills. We seek to prepare students to pursue their passions confidently and ethically—often in fields such as science, technology, engineering, and healthcare—while remaining grounded in faith and moral responsibility. At St. Helen, STREAM education forms students who are both intellectually capable and guided by wisdom and grace.
